Kempsafe Wins Carrier Contract
Kempsafe are delighted to announce the winning of a £3.4 million contract to supply the Catering Equipment for the Royal Navy's two new aircraft carriers; H.M.S. Queen Elizabeth and H.M.S Prince of Wales. It forms part of the £3 billion manufacturing contract awarded by the MoD to the Aircraft Carrier Alliance, a consortium that includes BVT Surface fleet, BAE Systems Marine, Babcock, Thales UK and the MOD, which acts as both client and ACA member.
In recent years Kempsafe were also successful in winning the contract to supply the Galley Equipment for Astute Class Submarines 1, 2 & 3 and have supplied Laundry Equipment for the Type 45 Project.
We have also been working with the NAAFI on a number of projects.
