IMC 04/04X Waste Disposal Units
In larger commercial kitchens, a system with the capacity to handle large volumes of food waste on a daily basis is essential. The IMC 04 Series has got what it takes to do the job quickly, efficiently and safely. The range consists of six robust, heavy-duty hopper-type machines designed to deal with food waste in kitchens serving upwards of 1000 covers per day. Fitted with 1.5, 3 or 5.5HP motors, the 04 Series can deal effectively with the waste generated by 1000 to 1700 meals every day. Models can be free-standing or welded into tabling with waste outlet and water inlet positioned to suit the needs of the kitchen. Powerful cast steel alloy grinding elements make short work of all preparation and table waste.
Speed and effectiveness is allied to the benefits of durability, easy cleaning and sleek, attractive appearance of stainless steel construction. The 04 Series is versatile and cost-effective too. All motors reverse direction automatically to extend the life of the rotor and cutter. As in all IMC machines, safety is a key feature. Operators are protected by a safety interlocked baffle which prevents access to the grinding unit whilst the machine is running.
The 04X Series disposers incorporate all the features of the standard 04 models but with the added benefit of 12V electronic controls. These monitor the machine in operation, conserving both power and water, while protecting against damage caused by misuse or seal failure. Visible and audible alarms alert the operator of any faults. The 04X also incorporates an innovative automatic self-clean system.
